During an extended stay in New Zealand helping his mother on her fruit farm, Joshua designed this bee sculpture after studying the fascinating Apis Mellifera, the honeybee. Bees are an important pollinator for much of the good food California (and New Zealand!) produces. A portion of the profits will be donated to researching a bee disease known as Colony Collapse Disorder.
Joshua Newth lives in California. He currently works as a medical device designer and enjoys surfing, running marathons (slowly!), and kiteboarding. He can be reached at mrfurious@furiousindustries.com.
